So you’re looking for a custom piece…

The good news, commissions are open! My commissions come from an ongoing waitlist, meaning I continually accept sign-ups for anyone who is interested. Not only is 3D floral art my specialty, wedding bouquets are my superpower. Almost four years of sculpting and arranging flowers has led me to the place I am now, the place where I have gained the knowledge and ability to create the most realistic wedding bouquets made of paint. The less good news, the waitlist is long. Quite long. Two-three years out. Currently, I am working on sign-ups from September 2022 and have been for some time.

Why? It all points back to social media. When videos gain traction and sometimes go viral, mass amounts of commission sign-ups come from it. Some people signed up during a time when my social media posts were only steadily being viewed, or during a “slow” point; Others signed up when reels went viral. This skews wait time depending on when you’ve signed up. The estimated wait time I provide is just that, an estimate based on my overall follow through rate; That said, the time passes quickly, though, and you’ll be up before you know it! I PROMISE. And I promise, it’s worth the wait and I’m happy to answer any questions in the meantime.

This is a long read but contains information about the waitlist and commission process, so bear with me or scroll to the bottom of the page to simply join the waitlist. :)

  1. I send out groupings of emails to waitlisters each time I finish a round of commissions. Once that round is complete, the next email goes out. If you haven’t received an email yet, you’re just not up yet! You can always email me with questions or to check on approximate wait time.

    1. Each painting takes me roughly 2-4 weeks to complete, and each round takes approximately 2 months, give or take depending on how many responses to proceed I received from the waitlisters. After that round is complete and the customers have paid their remaining balance and had their art has shipped, another email will be sent out to the next group on the waitlist, and so on, as entioned above.

    2. Wildcards: One in a while I will choose a name from the wait list out of order and you’ll be up in the next group; This way you may feel less discouraged with the long wait time; I know how hard it can be to wait for something you really want!

  2. 3. Commission Process:

    1. You receive an email from me that you’re up and you’re ready to proceed. Yay! Here’s what that looks like:

    2. You send me photos of your bouquet, or we discuss the commission you would like done. This is done through emails; but sometimes a phone call is in order.

    3. We discuss sizing and prices depending on your request. I have base prices, but these vary depending on simplicity or complexity of your request. For example, the suggested *starting* size of a wedding bouquet is 8x8” and $450; Though I go as small as 4” and as large as 24”. Email me for a full pricing list.

    4. I request a 50% (non-refundable deposit) before beginning. This is to be paid within 24 hours of agreeing to proceed with the commission. Why is it non refundable? A large amount of time and planning goes into each commission. This is a way to protect myself, the artist, if something goes unplanned in the process.

    5. During the creation process, I will send updates to 1. Show progress and/or 2. Check with you/ask you some questions about some things.

    6. Once the piece is complete, drying, and ready to ship, the second half payment will be requested, along with the cost to ship the piece and a 6% sales tax if you’re located in Pennsylvania (and of course, final photos are sent for your approval)! This can be paid any time before the piece ships and I will give you the date it will ship, and provide tracking and insurance information. Usually, I suggest at least a week after the piece has been completed to allow for ample drying time.

    7. That’s pretty much it! But, DISCLAIMER: You have likely been following my work for a while and understand my style and now, my process. For both the sake of my customers and myself, I cannot accept overly detailed requests. What does this mean? I want you to trust my process and understand that I am making your bouquet/your art in the style that I make all of my bouquets/art. Remember, I am making flowers out of paint and it will never exactly match the real thing!; nothing can compare to the beauty of real flowers. I will look to you for answers and suggestions, but my pieces are best when they are created with my own creative intuition. This said, I am happy to make a small change or two throughout the process. Anything beyond that, I do add on to the cost of the final piece, usually in the range of $25 per change. I want us BOTH to be happy!

I am sure I left out some information — but any and all information will be discussed thoroughly when it’s time to begin your commission. I look forward to working with you!
